overall good value
I received this kit with great pleasure.
The only items I was really unhappy with were:
The large directional flashlight
[ I think that in a time of LED lights that are supoer bright, long lasting, light weight and compact, this large,2 D battery flashlight is just bulky and impractical.]
The bandages...
in the first aid kit DO NOT stick.[ As most pre-assembled first aid kits go- I think they are great- but you will want to take some from your home medicine cabinet- the good kind- and replace the others, or supplement.]
And my least favorite was the am/fm radio.
It broke almost immediately and did not pick up signals well AT ALL.
I have unfortunately lost track of it- my husband probably threw it away- but I would have liked to return it, because my experience with Shelf Reliance is excellent customer service and a desire to deliver quality products.
I'd still recommend the kit- because its easy and complete, easy to replace these few items, and there is more than adequate room in the pack to add your own items, like multi-purpose tools, matches, extra first aid items, the Solar link radio, a Wing Stove, foods, chapstick, diapers, etc :-)

Gave as wedding gift!!
Our daughter was recently married and we gave the couple this kit for a shower gift!! Something they should have, but were unlikely to even think about amongst all the things they would need to set up housekeeping!! I thought it was a great idea I had!!
